Lada is starring in the role of Carolina from the opera Two Widows at the Antonín Dvořák Theater
In June, Lada made her debut on the stage of the Antonín Dvořák Theater in Ostrava. She is preparing the role of Carolina from the opera Two Widows by Bedřich Smetana.

Zdeněk Liška – Master of film music | Smetana hall Prague – 23. 03. 2022
Lada will perform at the concert in honor of the composer Zdeněk Liška in music from the films Markéta Lazarová and Spalovač mrtvol. Prague Symphony Orchestra of the City of Prague FOK is conducted by Radek Baborák.

Soprano Lada Bočková is one of the most outstanding talents of the young Czech singing generation. In the current season, she is performing as Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) at the Estates Theatre and as Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel) at the Prague State Opera. She also stars as Elena in a new production of Nino Rota’s Il cappello di paglia di Firenze at the Antonín Dvořák Theatre. After previously debuting as Violetta in La traviata at the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale and touring theatres across Umbria, she recently reprised the role at the Moravian Theatre in Olomouc. She also made her debut at the J.K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen as Carolina in The Two Widows.
As part of her concert activities in the current and previous seasons, she performed in three major concerts featuring Webber’s Requiem and Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 with the Prague Symphony Orchestra (FOK). This May, she will once again sing the soprano solo in Mahler’s Fourth Symphony with the Slovak Philharmonic under the baton of Daniel Raiskin. She also appeared with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra alongside Andrea Bocelli in a major Christmas concert in Malta. She made her U.S. debut performing in concert with Joseph Calleja at BroadStage in California. In 2024, she gave a recital dedicated to Czech composers in the Suk Hall of the Rudolfinum, as part of the Czech Philharmonic’s chamber music series.
